Ekaterina graduated from the journalism department at Lomonosov Moscow State University, received a degree in psychological practice from the psychology department at Moscow State University, and completed a program at INSEAD Business School for executives called Challenge of Leadership – Creating Effective Leaders.
After briefly working as a journalist, she worked as a consultant for international programs in the Russian Peace Committee. In the first half of the 90s, Ekaterina worked in sales and business development for major international companies (Unisys, Apple Computers, and Xerox). Ekaterina continued to develop her career in international and Russian executive search companies as a consultant and as a director of business development.
From 2001 to 2009 she was a managing partner for Anderson Partners.
